ANIMAL SCIENCES JUDGING TEAMS
Students on the UF Animal Sciences Judging Teams work tirelessly to learn all they can about their chosen field of study. Team members come from diverse backgrounds and often begin their judging career with little to no experience. They end the program with knowledge that sets them apart from their peers and ultimately helps them gain valuable industry jobs. Our judging teams travel across the country to represent UF in intercollegiate competitions that test their knowledge and skills.
Funds raised will be evenly distributed to support our teams in meats judging, livestock judging, and equine judging. Your gift helps these dedicated students to learn, travel, develop professionally, build lifelong friendships, and network with students, faculty and industry.
WHAT IS “STAND UP & HOLLER?”
Stand Up & Holler is UF's fifth annual giving day, a full 24-hour fundraising event, calling on all University of Florida alumni, students, faculty, staff, families and friends to come together to support UF and all of its areas of positive impact in our state, nation and world. The event takes place on Feb. 16, 2023, beginning at 12 a.m. EST and concluding at 11:59 p.m. PST.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
Our goal is 27,000 gifts in 24 hours. Gifts can be directed to the school, department, research initiative, campus activity, UF program or an area of greatest need that means the most to you.
