Dr. David Gibson was the founding director of the Geomatics (Surveying & Mapping) Program at the University of Florida. A dedicated faculty member for 40 years, he continued teaching until 2014--six years after his official retirement. To honor his legacy, former students and friends established this endowment to support the Geomatics Program he cherished.
