FIELD AND FORK FARM AND GARDENS
The UF Field & Fork Campus Food Program offers valuable educational opportunities focused on sustainable agriculture, food systems and related fields including political science, economics and art. A core element is the Farm and Gardens, where students and community members engage in hands-on learning about home and community gardening, small and urban farming and even large-scale food production.
In addition to providing an outdoor classroom, the Farm and Gardens directly combats food insecurity on campus. Fresh produce grown in the Farm and Gardens is shared with the campus community through the Alan and Cathy Hitchcock Field & Fork Pantry, providing vital support to those in need. Your gift to the Field & Fork Campus Food Initiative Fund supports essential garden supplies like soil and seeds, as well as resources for students and educational experience.
