FLORIDA RECOVERY CENTER CAPITAL FUND
A state-of-the-art Florida Recovery Center – ranked #1 in Florida and #5 nationwide according to Newsweek – will be opening in Fall 2025. Future patients will benefit from expanded care thanks to the two new residential buildings with 138 beds, which will allow us to serve more patients struggling with addiction. New amenities will compliment a healthy recovery including a pool, gym, outdoor recreation area for yoga and other activities and pickleball court.
Renovations have already been made to an existing 18,700-square-foot administrative building for patient services like addiction evaluations, group and individual therapy, lectures and outpatient care at the new site. In addition, the centrally located Commons Building will serve as a hub of all activity including intake of new patients, laundry, and shared lounge space. The need for new and upgraded facilities is long overdue, and we can only provide access to a wealth of amenities with your help! FLORIDA RECOVERY CENTER CHALLENGE GIFT
Carl and Joan Allison have pledged to give up to $100,000 in memory of their son, Dr. Jared Carl Allison, who was a Florida Recovery Center alumnus, but we need 40 donors to unlock it! Every 10 donors who make gifts to support FRC and addiction recovery unlocks a $25,000 donation from the Allison family until we reach the full $100,000. Your gift still makes a difference beyond 40 donors, so keep the momentum going and take a stand for the UF Health Florida Recovery Center.
