Kunisaki Medical Toxicology Fellowship Fund

The Dr. Thomas A. Kunisaki Medical Toxicology Fellowship Fund honors the legacy of Dr. Kunisaki's profound impact on emergency medicine and toxicology in the Jacksonville community. A passionate and dedicated physician, Dr. Kunisaki served as an associate professor for 26 years. His leadership as the medical director of the Florida/USVI Poison Information Center greatly influenced more than 400 residents, 20 toxicology fellows, and countless students. This fund aims to generate support for a new medical toxicology fellowship within the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville, addressing a critical need in the region and ensuring Dr. Kunisaki's commitment to medical education and patient care continues to inspire future generations.
