The Florida Museum of Natural History is Florida's state museum of natural history, dedicated to understanding, preserving and interpreting biological diversity and cultural heritage. Home to nationally and internationally recognized collections and research programs and exhibits and education efforts, the museum is the largest collections-based museum south of the Smithsonian and one of the largest university natural history museums in the country. We are grateful for your support of our students, our dynamic research enterprise, and our innovative public programs.
