What Does a Giving Day Ambassador Do?
1. Register by filling out the form above. Select the area you would like to champion on Giving Day by searching for your preferred fund in the campaign field.
2. Receive an email with instructions and resources to help you spread the word about Giving Day, including a social media toolkit.
3. Get your custom fundraising link. A week before Giving Day, a custom fundraising link will be emailed to you. This link is unique to you and will direct your network to the area of impact you selected at registration. Use this link in all your posts, and don't forget to use it when making your own gifts on Giving Day.
4. Spread the word! Use the resources provided to you to post about Giving Day. Encourage your network to support Gator Nation Giving Day and the areas you are most passionate about by donating through your custom fundraising link.
5. Earn custom Giving Day swag. New for 2026 - every Ambassador who brings in two donors through their custom fundraising link will receive a pair of exclusive Giving Day socks. Bring in a pair of donors, get a pair of socks!

Giving day Ambassador FAQs
WHAT IS A GIVING DAY AMBASSADOR?
Giving Day Ambassadors help build excitement and spread the word about Gator Nation Giving Day. Ambassadors make an impact on Giving Day by posting branded content on their social media channels and encouraging their personal networks to stand up & holler for UF by making a gift to the area on campus they are most passionate about.
WHO CAN BE A GIVING DAY AMBASSADOR?
Anyone can sign up to be an Ambassador! If you are a proud member of the Gator Nation and want to help champion Giving Day, fill out the form above to register.
WHEN IS THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP?
The Ambassador registration form will close on February 18, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST.
WHAT DO I RECEIVE AS A GIVING DAY AMBASSADOR?
After registering as an Ambassador, you will receive an email with instructions and resources for your Giving Day social media promotion. You will also receive a custom fundraising link (via email) to use in your posts. This link will help track gifts made to your passion area and measure your network's impact on Giving Day.
New for 2026! Every Ambassador who receives donations on their custom fundraising link from at least two donors will be sent a pair of exclusive Giving Day socks. Bring a pair of donors, get a pair of socks!
Socks will be sent to qualifying Ambassadors by March 5. Gifts must be made through your custom fundraising link in order to qualify.
