From Escambia to Monroe, the University of Florida is in your neighborhood! UF/IFAS Extension is a network of UF faculty, professionals, friends and volunteers serving Florida’s communities. Extension shares knowledge from UF through programs like 4-H youth development for young people ages 5-18, Florida Master Gardener Volunteers providing free lawn and garden information for residents, sharing research-based knowledge with local farmers producing critical food supplies, and conservation programs for natural resources like water and wildlife habitat.
