The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) is UF’s dedicated enterprise for advancing agriculture, natural resources, and life sciences. • UF/IFAS research facilities in Gainesville, along with 17 off-campus locations across Florida, are addressing critical issues in agriculture and natural resources.

• UF/IFAS Extension serves every county in Florida, delivering regionally focused expertise and public programs, such as the Florida 4-H Youth Development Program, to support local communities.
